MOBILE CAMP
ESA has it own mobile camp that it provides to film and expedition teams. This camp can be moved easily and allows teams to move their locations quickly and easily. The camp also allows teams to spend time in wilderness areas where accomodation is not available. The basic camp is comprised of:-
- Basic kitchen and utensils
- Long drop toilet and bucket showers
- 5m x 5m working tent with tables
- 2.4m x 2.4m Canvas dome tents with safari bedrolls (incl. linen)
- Camp lights
- Petrol generator (surge protected) with cables and plug points
VEHICLES
ESA has four 4x4 vehicles at hand for people and equipment transfer. Extra vehicles, including more specialized vehicles, can be sourced on request by crews. All vehicles come with recovery equipment and 2 spare tyres. Specialised vehicles that can be sourced include safari game viewers, heavy duty trucks, tractors, quad bikes and a hover craft.
BOATS
A wide variety of boats can be sourced, depending on the requirements of the crew. Standard boats are 4meter aluminium crafts with 60hp outboard motors. Boats can be set up for transfer of crews or equipment and most boats have standard long range tanks onboard. The fleet of boats which can be sourced include:-
- Aluminium crafts between 3m and 7m long
- Double deck boats
- House boats and barges
- Traditional dugout canoes ("mokoros")
- Air Boat
FLIGHTS
ESA's location allows the company to easily charter a wide variety of aeroplanes from Cessna 206's to Airbuses. Helicopter charter is also available if required. These flights can be chartered for transfers or filming/scenic purposes.
OTHER SERVICES
ESA provides a host of other flexible services to crews including, but not limited to- SCUBA hire and safety divers, Microlights, film crew, film equipment, profesional guides/hunters and consultation with wildlife researchers.
